Saturday club for children aged 5-11

The session starts at 9.30am. Every session starts with learning how to care for one of our animals from our collection and this is a different animal for every session. Once everyone has had a go, the session moves onto the topic for that week. Topics for this academic year are as follows;

19th October- Food chains and diets

23rd November- Digestive systems

18th January- Welfare needs of animals

1st February- Lambing and kidding

22nd March- Enrichment making

26th April- Animal produce

The sessions are practical and hands-on for the children. Please provide them with a snack and plenty of fluids as there will be chance for a snack break. The session ends at 12.30.

Please make sure when booking you are able to commit your child to the day you have booked as we are unable to give refunds for places and there is a £4 admin fee for changes to bookings.
