Terms & Conditions

Please familiarise yourself with our T&Cs before engaging with our website or booking any of our activities or events. 

  • Payments for bookings are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the Agricultural Science Unit. 

  • To gain entry you must show your booking; this can be printed or electronic. 

  • Bookings are for 1 day, valid for the date and time selected at time of purchase only.

  • Access may be denied if you visit without a booking or for an invalid date. 

  • We reserve the right to request proof of age to ensure the correct ticket has been purchased.  

  • Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst on site, with the exception of those attending Kids Club, camp, or any event where parents are explicitly told they do not have to be on site. 

  • Vendors attending open days are permitted to bring one additional person on site with them. If any guests wish to take part in any of the scheduled activities, they will need to purchase a ticket at normal ticket price (dependant on age).

  • To book with www.agricultrualscienceunit.net you must be over eighteen years of age and/or have the permission of an adult whose computer gives you access to the site. You must ensure that the details provided by you on booking or at any time are correct and complete. 

  • You must be over 18 and/ or have the bill payer's permission to purchase any item, electronic or otherwise at www.agriculturalscienceunit.net.

  • Permission must be obtained for all private filming and photography with the exception of public open days.

  • The Agricultural Science unit reserves the right to refuse entry into, or remove from the premises, any person. This includes, but is not limited to, a person who: 

    • Has behaved in a manner which, in the opinion of the ASU, has, or is likely to, adversely affect the animals at the site or the safety or enjoyment of other visitors 

    • Has used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour, or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace or may disturb animals 

    • Is, or appears to be, under the influence of drugs or alcohol 

  • By purchasing a ticket to The Agricultural Science Unit (ASU), Visitors agree to: 

    • Keep their voices and mobile telephone volumes low 

    • Not attempt to enter animal enclosures unsupervised  

    • Not to feed animals unless the feed is provided by the ASU 

    • Not bang on glass or put any body part through railings or fencing 

    • Not throw any article which could cause injury or annoyance to visitors or animals 

    • Not smoke, use electronic cigarettes, or vape anywhere on the premises, except in designated smoking areas 

  • The ASU reserves the right to amend pricing and opening times entirely at its discretion and without warning. 

  • The ASU cannot guarantee that all animals will be on show throughout the day for assorted reasons, including animal welfare, certain animals may be off show to the public without prior notice. 

  • Shows, talks and events can be temporarily withdrawn or closed without notice for a variety of reasons (e.g., technical, or operational issues, animal sickness or other welfare problems).  

  • Dogs that attend must be always under control and on a lead. The ASU reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the premises, any dog that puts our animals or other visitors at risk. 

  • Please note: Photos and videos may be taken for advertising purposes during your visit. Although we are focusing on our Animals on site, we may capture people in some shots.

  • If for any reason you want yourself or any child you are in charge of (under the age of 18) to remain unfeatured in any media, please make this known to any member of staff immediately upon arrival.
